Volunteers Needed!

The 2009 Creek to Bay event broke past records for volunteer turnout with 4,565 participants!  Register today to expand upon these results and preserve San Diego's natural heritage.  Please consider choosing one of the inland cleanup site options that have a larger need for volunteers.

Calling all San Diegans! I Love A Clean San Diego's Creek to Bay Cleanup is scheduled for Saturday, April 24th from 9AM - 12noon.

Gather friends, family, coworkers, or volunteer on your own for this event that comes just in time for Earth Day.  Each cleanup location is led by a trained site captain equipped with all cleanup supplies, giveaways, and the knowledge to guide volunteers at the event.  With over 65 coastal and inland cleanup sites to choose from, you can volunteer for your community, or your favorite outdoor area.

Not only will you make a difference by volunteering at this event, but you will also leave with a sustainable gift from ILACSD.  Volunteers will receive commemorative event reusable water bottles (while supplies last), allowing participants to incorporate a sustainable habit into your daily life.  Beverage bottles and other plastics are some of the most common types of trash that you will find while cleaning up litter at this event.  These eco-friendly alternatives will prevent litter, reduce waste, and cut down our dependence on plastics.

Sign up today to give San Diego County a clean sweep, all the way from Creek to Bay!
