Do more with your morning by volunteering for the 10th Annual Creek to Bay Cleanup, scheduled for Saturday, April 28th from 9AM - 12noon at 75+ coastal and inland cleanup sites countywide. As coordinators at I Love A Clean San Diego begin the planning process, now is the time to get involved! Each year, we aim to expand our reach into new communities, and this year, are looking for location suggestions and site captains for the following communities: Julian, Poway, Alpine, Borrego Springs, Allied Gardens, Point Loma, Hillcrest, and Golden Hill. If you know of a location in need of volunteers and/or are available to act as a site captain, contact contact Natalie Roberts at 619-704-2773 or

Thank you to all supporters and volunteers of 2011's most successful Creek to Bay Cleanup yet! Last year, 5,350 volunteers spanned out across 75 coastal and inland cleanup sites throughout San Diego County, removing 80 tons of debris. Not only did these volunteers protect communities countywide, but they additionally prevented marine debris caused by litter that travels from San Diego's creeks, streams and storm drains to the coast where it contaminates our bays and beaches. In addition to litter removal, volunteers also took part in projects including storm drain stenciling, tree planting, weeding, and graffiti removal.
